Archaeological Operations Manager
Jeff Dillane is an experienced archaeologist specializing in Ontario archaeology, with a focus on landscape archaeology and GIS-based spatial analysis. He has been actively involved in the field since 2003, developing extensive expertise in the Trent Valley and across Southern Ontario. His research has examined settlement patterns, mortuary practices, and cultural landscapes, contributing valuable insights into Ontario’s archaeological record.

Throughout his career, Jeff has worked in both academic and applied settings, including as an archaeologist with Parks Canada’s Terrestrial Archaeology unit, where he was involved in significant projects such as the Rouge National Urban Park in the Greater Toronto Area. His expertise in regulatory compliance, spatial data analysis, and cultural resource management strengthens Matrix Heritage’s capacity to deliver high-quality heritage consulting services.
